There are many perks to being part of the TWiT network. There's the free brain toniq, the free legal advice from Denise Howell, and free stuff from people who hope I'll talk about it on my blog.
Last month I received a bunch of CDs from Disney including They Might Be Giants (Here Come the 123s), Imagination Movers (Juice Box Heroes), Genevieve and DC's Choo-Choo-Soul, Ralph's World (The Rhyming Circus), and the Disney Music Block Party CD. (Incidentally, Stefan and Bill are both reporting on the controversy over cancellations of the Disney Music Tour on their blogs. They suspect that the culprit was low ticket sales and too many headliners.)
As many of you know, I have mixed feelings about Disney. I don't like how they push princesses on my daughter and before I will go visit my best friend who lives in LA she must promise not to make me go to Disney Land while we're there.
But, I love They Might Be Giants and and as I've reported before, Here Come the 123s does not disappoint. The other CDs are good too (although I admit to not having tried Choo Choo Soul yet.) I'm not a music reviewer, but Stefan is, so read what he has to say about The Disney Music Block Party CD, and The Rhyming Circus. Also, Bill plays Imagination Movers on Spare the Rock a lot, so they can't be bad.
