"The Kissing Hand" by Aubrey Penn is a great book for kids, especially younger kids, to read to them to help them go back to school. It's about a 'kindergarten' raccoon and his mom and being afraid to go to school. "The Silly Book" by Stoo Hample is an absolutly funny book for all ages.
