Hulu = Huge Time Waster
A year ago we got rid of TV for a reason. We watched too much of it. Now, I'm tempted once again by Hulu, where you can watch a selection of TV and movies for free, as long as you're willing to sit through a few ads. (Editor's Note: I am not making any money on the embedded ads in the clip below.)
If you've used Hulu, what do you think?
If you haven't seen Friday Night Lights yet, here's your chance. Season 1 was amazing. I liked it so much that I could not wait a year for the DVD to come out. So, my parents recorded it on their PVR and then babysat for us so we could watch season 2. It was not worth it and we gave up halfway through. I don't understand how a show that good could turn that bad that quickly.

Hello again. We've given up cable for several years now.
We've done Hulu, we've also used the networks' streaming as well. What we watch most as a family though
What we do as a family though is mainly Netlfix. Believe it or not, my almost 5yo daughter and by almost 3yo son love the new Doctor Who series, which you can do as a watch now.
It may not seem like typical toddler/preschooler fare, but with one of the kids in a Spiderman/Star Wars phase, we like that in Doctor Who's weapon of choice is not a gun, not a lightsaber, but a sonic screwdriver. And he does not fight back unless backed into a corner.

Hey Megan I really like the new service Hulu first because it's free but they seem to have a good selection of TV shows. I been catching up on Buffy the Vampire Slayer and can't stop watching.
The ads aren't that bad there only about 30 second each and I don't have a big problem with that it I just hope they don't get any longer and since it's free you can't really get mad. If I were to buy shows from somewhere like itunes then I would not want any ads but I do like Hulu and yes you can spend a lot of time there!

I'm a total new BSG geek and Hulu has saved my cable-free butt from a lot of torture.
