Jumping Monkeys Episode 34: Dad Gone Mad
Our guest today is the hilarious Danny Evans of Dad Gone Mad. We chat about fatherhood, his writing, and to my silent amazement, his vascectomy. Check out this post if you're curious why he didn't read any of his blog on the show.

Leo gone mad!

Oh, oh, oh! How I love TMBG! I love the 7 days of the week song the very best!
And, yes. I love my brother. He may be mad, but he's super! Really, one of the nicest guys you'll ever meet. Thanks for talking to him.
On the three parent thing - my husband, super rad scientist guy wants to know... If one of your parents is an identical twin, is the other twin a bio-parent, too?
I vote for d. - all of the above. I didn't get a choice for "a child should have however many parents they have."

As a wife and mother, I liked "Leo gone mad" and always welcome more dad-focused episodes. I couldn't be more interested in how the other half lives, or, in this case, how the other half survives being under the ~~knife~~.

I am a dad and grandfather of all girls and I enjoyed this episode. It was both humorous and informative. I'll add Dad Gone Mad to my list of blogs to read.
I, too, had a vasectomy and the procedure was rather uneventful for me, but I would recommend taking the day off, since there is some discomfort afterwards. I think it is a responsible act that husbands/fathers should seriously consider once you have your desired number of children. I guess you could always bank away some of your sperm if you want to for possible later use if you have concerns about the future.
