OMG, thanks for posting that Muppets clip. That's really made me smile. I almost forgot about the Cabbage Patch-looking baby characters. I love the one that keeps bonking his head with the stick. Boy, those were the days when we had true performers who could improvise and their voices weren't altered or synthesized. In our home, we all enjoy the Jim Henson characters, especially the Muppets. We even incorporated them into our wedding reception when we were married. We hope our young son will grow up with them also as we've been collecting the DVDs. Thanks for the smile today. :)

Now THAT was funny - we've all had days like that. I only had two kids, but that sense of overwhelm is very familiar!
Made my day!

Hi Megan,
Check out this video, I think you will enjoy it. I did and I'm not even a Mom.
Even show it to Leo...I'm sure he would get a chuckle from it.

Quick comment about parental controls. The most important issue is not trusting your children. The important issue is security. Even the most careful kid (or adult) can visit a dangerous page. You don't let your kids roam the streets of your city unsupervised so you should not let him roam the Internet unsupervised either.
My house is all Linux all the time so I use a host of opensource security tools to keep my network safe. I also am a big fan of OpenDNS.
Hey, maybe some day you could get the fabulous Laura Chappel on the show! http://www.packet-level.com/kids/index.html
She has some great stuff.
