You might be happy to know that Milo, Huck, the other kids in their class, and I all survived the first day of preschool. In the words of their teachers, "they did great."
Play with sand and funnel - A
Pee in toilet - A
Not bite, hit, scream at, or otherwise frighten other children into needing therapy later in life or now - A
And now for my Million Little Pieces James Frey moment. In my list last week I mentioned that an angry mother had called the school to find out if "those twins" were coming. To be truthful, she called because she was behind us on the waiting list and the teacher had told her that if my boys decided not to come then there would be room for her child. However, there were a pair of moms at gymnastics class who used to refer to them in whispered tones as "those twins" because of a biting incident that my lawyers have asked me not to refer to on this blog.

It's a good thing you have lawyers. I wonder if the lawyers are related or just work for the same law firm. When the boys are older and they ask you how they were when they were younger, you can mention that you needed lawyers.

Glad to see the twins had a great day..but it's funny to me that you have lawyers working on a case of biting (I am guessing they bit someone)...I mean things are pretty different in this part of Europe (the part I live in)...I mean it had to be a really really serious thing for one to be needing lawyers...and I think it's a good thing things are that way..because I believe that having lawyers for every little thing..well I just think it sends a wrong image to the kids...

Nice post. I've been trying to catch up on some of the events and happenings since I landed on the island. Are you sure about Visser not getting a lot of votes.
What is your footnote a reference to? The asterisk is missing from the main body of the posting.

I remember the first day that I went to school it was amazing but when I went with my daughter the first day I noticed that everything was different and now children have more opportunities to learn playing.

Weblogs may be a quite marketable and very rewarding instrument if employed correctly. Profiting from blogs is just a matter of grabbing the interest of an audience and never performing any actual salesmen promoting.

How often do we hear complaints from the police investigating some crime that they are facing a "wall of silence", that "someone out there" has vital evidence which out of fear or a misplaced sense of loyalty they are refusing to report? Have the courage to come forward is the message: your public duty comes before your personal concerns.
