1/2 Marathon: Part 2
As some of you know, I've been training for my second half marathon. My first one was last October in San Francisco. Today was the day and I finished with a time of 2 hours, 4 minutes. My goal was to do 10 minute miles and I averaged about 9:29. I also beat my time from the last race by 14 minutes. It feels pretty great.
All the family came out to cheer me on at the finish, which always gets me through that last stretch.

Woot! Way to go Megan. :)

nice job. I always try for 10 minute miles. They always end up being 12 min/miles. Darn the Krispy Kremes!

Congrats Megan, I ran a couple of charity races here in my home town a few years ago and I know how good it feels when you can say you beat your last time. Congrats again, and keep up the great job on Jumping Monkeys podcast too.

Way to go, Megan!! Nothing compares to feeling of accomplishment when all of those weeks of training pay off on race day.

Congratulations on the race Megan. I am in training for my third half marathon. I would love to do 10 minute miles as well, but my two previous efforts were closer to 11:20. Right now I should be at a 10:30 pace for this next race. I am in much better condition and my training pace has really sped up.
