Diet Coke with Vitamins?

If you have a daily vice and you want to keep it a secret, my advice is to do it only at 6 in the morning when most people you know are not around. Oh, and don't write about it on your blog.

My vice is Diet Coke. I drink one first thing in the morning, right when I wake up. This is a bad habit, I know. I don't drink coffee. I don't smoke. I don't do drugs. I don't watch television. I don't even drink that much (and hardly ever at 6 in the morning.) And I'm only a little bit addicted to the Internet. But I drink a Diet Coke every single day (sometimes twice a day). And even though it has less caffeine than coffee, it has all kinds of chemicals that will rot my stomach, leach calcium from my bones, and do other nasty things to my body. And yet, I don't stop drinking it.

But, according to Newsweek, you'll see a new version of Diet Coke in stores starting next week. And this one has, that's right, vitamins. I'm excited that I might be able to feel a little less guilty about my only addiction. I wonder if this will make me a little less likely to drink it.

I tried it and it doesn't taste too bad. A bit sweeter than regular Diet Coke.

But watch that Internet addiction!

i'm a fellow addict trying hard to wean myself away - but oh no! DC w/ vitamins? that just might send me right back to my addictions...

Thank you for bringing such nice posts. Your blog is always fascinating to read.

Now, if we could only get the internet with vitamins, I'd be home free.
