Twin Motherhood Explained: Matching Clothing
Most people are of the opinion that moms of twins who dress their kids alike deserve to be ridiculed. To some people, it is a sin right up there with giving them names that rhyme.
Up to this point I haven't made a habit of dressing Milo and Huck alike because most of our clothes are hand-me-downs and even when I do have two of the same outfit, the chances that they are both clean at the same time are as slim as my waistline in 1991. My boys are lucky that their own shirts match their own pants. Let's face it, they're lucky if they get to wear pants.
That said, Milo and Huck are now in a stage when they want exactly what their brother has and if they don't get it, there is hell to pay. Clothes are no exception. So, today I dressed them in the same shirt and I might do it again. If you want to ridicule me, I invite you to come over to my house when I'm getting them dressed in the morning and endure the tantrums that ensue if one of them gets to wear the blue shirt with the train on it and they don't.

Well I think you are doing a fine job. Have you herd of the trend where people name their twins with the same first name only one of them has the name backwards? That's just nut's. Good luck with the show.

I understand where you are coming from being a mother of twin's. I have girls and they are now 13 but when they were little they
wanted the same matching underpants. Don't worry about want others think on this go with what makes life easy on you in the morning to get them dress. If it makes them happy go with it.

As a mom of three with a set of twins, quite frankly I'm a tad surprised you manage to get dressed and wear pants each day.
You could print this post very small on a business card and simply hand it to anyone who gives you guff. Anyone who dares look sideways at you gets a copy.

Heck I have a 4 & 6 year old (sisters). The 4 year old _has_ to be involved if she even suspects her older sister is getting attention, etc.
So.. do whatever it takes and good luck!
